BALTIMORE, MD. and TUCSON, AZ. – March 24, 2014 -- BrownIT Corporation and AudioEye, Inc (OTCQB: AEYE) have formed a strategic teaming relationship to provide voice technology solutions to the federal government healthcare IT market. This teaming agreement provides significant value for both organizations. AudioEye has created a proprietary Audio Internet® Accessibility platform that allows people with disabilities to interact with websites like never before. Additionally, AudioEye’s technology is the first of its kind to fully comply with government mandates, such as the Communications & Video Accessibility Act (CVAA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
“The partnership with BrownIT represents an exciting venture for AudioEye in a key market vertical,” stated Paul Arena, Executive Chairman of AudioEye, Inc. “Our product is perfectly suited for the federal government healthcare IT sector, and we see no better access into that market than through teaming relationships with experienced companies like BrownIT.”
BrownIT is a provider of information technology solutions to the federal government healthcare sector. Among other services, BrownIT offers configuration management, data mining and analytics, systems implementation, and professional technical support services to large government agencies such as the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Given its long history in the government market, coupled with numerous well-established relationships, BrownIT is a very advantageous partner for AudioEye within the public sector. In addition, its small business designation often gives BrownIT preferential treatment over larger entities when seeking government contracts.
Like all government contractors, BrownIT is highly familiar with the long-standing regulations set forth in information accessibility mandates such as Section 508. However, until now there was no definitive solution. With this partnership solidified, BrownIT can extend these new capabilities into its pre-established markets. And because AudioEye’s product is the only one that can fully meet the new federal government standards, BrownIT can significantly increase its potential for contract awards.
With regards to AudioEye, this is an ideal partnership for a company that has previously had limited government exposure. The partnership with BrownIT opens a distribution channel to provide a necessary solution for government-operated websites. This teaming relationship was orchestrated by K3 Strategic Development Group (www.k3grp.com).
“We are eager to formalize this partnership and incorporate AudioEye’s solutions into our capability set,” noted Mark Brown, Chief Executive Officer of BrownIT. “The solution that AudioEye brings to government entities in general is highly unique and in growing demand.”
